Kyle Shanahan on Monday projected a Week 6 return for star wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk, who tore the ACL and MCL in his right knee last season.

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk hasn't played since Oct. 20 because of a significant knee injury that limited him to just seven games last season, but fans might not have to wait too long into the 2025 campaign to see him take the field.

With Aiyuk out, 2024 first-round pick Ricky Pearsall will likely step into his role at San Francisco's WR1, but another receiver to keep an eye on is Russell Gage, who's been a standout during training camp and caught Shanahan's eye.
