AB 1269, “Wakiesha’s Law,” by Isaac G. Bryan (D-Ladera Heights), cleared the Public Safety Committee on April 8 with a unanimous 7–0 vote.

Due to the sheer volume and different needs of fire victims, a lot of it ended up either in landfills or being shipped abroad.
