Three people are in custody after a robbery and shooting in Chicago prompted a south suburban chase on Monday afternoon, police said.

Robbery suspects travel miles through Chicago, south suburbs before getting caught

The robbers then fled in a stolen Infiniti, and headed several miles south and east to 74th Street and St. Lawrence Avenue in the Greater Grand Crossing community. There, at least one of the robbers took out a handgun and fired shots into a home, police said. No injuries were reported.
