The Minecraft Movie's Steve will be played by Jack Black, according to a new report, putting the comic actor in line for another big video game role.

We now have video evidence to back up reports. Jack Black has all but officially confirmed that he is playing Steve in the upcoming Minecraft movie, with a new video teasing the role.

Hopefully, the next one that they create won’t be as horrifying as Minecraft Steve, and will instead be something similar to their brilliant 3D recreation of Chucky Finster from Rugrats.
