Superman and the clone fight, and it's not looking good for Clark, until he calls Krypto for help. Supes is ultimately able to knock Ultraman into a black hole opened as part of the rift, then he and Krypto take down the next wave of Lex's back-up.
Well, this is the mid-credits scene except instead of sitting next to each other on the moon, Krypto is giving Superman a big hug. It’s, as I said, adorable. It also makes me wish this entire movie had actually been Superman & Krypto, a story about a man trying to get his dog back without all the other overstuffed plot mechanics.
Superman (2025) is out and if you have questions regarding the ending of this movie, here it is explained in detail.
Yes. In fact, Superman has two post-credits scenes. One comes after the stylized mid-credits, while the other comes right at the very end, after all the regular credits have rolled. So, stay in your seat after the movie has finished.
Similar to the mid-credits scene, the post-credits scene in Superman does not have major ramifications on the future of the DCU. It is a short comedic scene that has no impact on the story. Gunn likely threw it in to get one last laugh out of his audience.
At first glance, the end credit sequence feels like a joke, not unlike Captain America talking to kids in detention in Spider-Man: Homecoming or the drumming ant in Ant-Man and the Wasp. The scene finds Superman and Mister Terrific (Edi Gathegi) looking at one of the buildings that was destroyed in Lex’s attack on Metropolis.

James Gunn's Superman has two end credits scenes that underline how DC Studios is dealing with stingers as a worldbuilding tool.
