Susquehanna County is closing its jail, saving about $3 million a year. A majority of the inmates will now be housed in Wayne County. Wayne County will receive $118 per day to board each inmate.

Most of Susquehanna County's inmates will be housed in the Wayne County Correctional Facility. The agreement sets a rate of $118 per day per inmate.
