Albert Sambi Lokonga spent last season on loan at Sevilla and is up for sale. Fabio Vieira and Reiss Nelson, who also spent last season out on loan, can leave this summer if suitable offers arrive. Nelson has previously been of interest to Crystal Palace, which could prove useful given Arsenal’s interest in Eberechi Eze.
Arsenal are on the verge of signing Salford wonderkid Will Wright. According to the The Athletic, the 17-year-old is expected to join and then represent the club's Under-17 and Under-21 sides. He has been prolific at youth level for Salford, who are owned by members of the Class of '92.
Liverpool also acted promptly after winning the league title. The Merseyside club secured high-profile signings, including Florian Wirtz and Jeremie Frimpong, in an effort to maintain their momentum and further solidify their squad depth.
Newcastle are refusing to sell their star striker, and with Arsenal no longer an option, the Reds could well be the likeliest side to sign Rodrygo, who is valued at €90 million (£77m). It remains to be seen, however, if Liverpool will still consider a move for Rodrygo even if they sign Hugo Ekitike from Eintracht Frankfurt.
