The National Park Service said on Wednesday evening that inner canyon corridor trails at the Grand Canyon were closed due to a chlorine gas leak at Roaring Springs. On Thursday, the leak was stabilized and those inner canyon trails reopened, but some closures remained.

A leak released chlorine, used for water treatment at the park, forcing park authorities to close several trails.
