Brave New World, continues its box office run but has hit a concerning benchmark at the domestic box office. The film recorded a mere USD 3.4 million on Wednesday (February 19), marking the lowest Wednesday performance for any Captain America movie to date.

Marvel Studios’ latest adventure and the fourth solo Cap movie, “ Captain America: Brave New World ,” is opening in theaters this weekend and has made $12 million in Thursday previews at the box office.

If Brave New World continues its eye-catching success in theaters over the next few weeks, this global total could rise to as high as $32 billion, further cementing the MCU's title as the highest-grossing franchise of all time.
