Just over a week ago, dreams became reality for a number of NBA Draft prospects — including former Duke Blue Devils stars Kon Knueppel and Cooper Flagg, who were not only teammates, but also roommates in Durham.

The SEC rode a strong second round to the top of the charts in the 2025 NBA Draft, as the conference finished with 13 total selections. Eight of 29 players selected on Thursday night came from the league, which was in second place behind the Big Ten after Wednesday's first round.

It's long been expected that Cooper Flagg would be the No. 1 overall pick in the NBA draft, and that's exactly what happened as the Dallas Mavericks selected the ex-Duke star first on Wednesday.
