After months of anticipation that the Dallas Cowboys would take a wide receiver at No. 12 in the 2025 NFL draft, fans were shocked when Tyler Booker was announced as the selection. To his credit, Booker is an excellent prospect who will be a long-time starter in the NFL.

On Day 2 of the NFL draft, the Cowboys have picks No. 44 and No. 76 overall. Both are pretty high and the Cowboys can potentially get an impact player in each round. The two pressing needs on Day 2 are wide receiver and running back. Dallas hosted numerous running backs at The Star, either as one of their national or Dallas day visits.

Head Coach Brian Schottenheimer said this about Booker: "I'm not just excited about the player. I'm extremely excited about the person."
