Damian Lillard is heading back to Rose City. Lillard, 35, is finalizing a three-year, $42 million deal with the Trail Blazers, ESPN’s Shams Charania reported on Thursday . As part of the deal, there will be a player option for the 2027-28 season and a no-trade clause.

At his re-introduction, Lillard said it never felt right leaving Portland. The All-Star will spend 2025-26 rehabbing before returning.
