Scream 7 stuns fans with one of the original cast members making a return. Just how is this all going to work?

While Scream 7 may not be a part of the 2025 movie schedule, we’ve been getting plenty of new Ghostface updates. The newest bit of news includes a past killer behind the iconic mask joining production and returning for the seventh installment.

Lillard, who played Stu Macher in the first Scream movie, has been cast in Scream 7, as reported by Deadline. Stu was one-half of the Ghostface killer duo in the 1996 film alongside final girl Sidney Prescott’s boyfriend Billy Loomis (Skeet Ulrich).

Foley’s Roman Bridger suffered the same deadly fate at the end of Scream 3, after his character was revealed to be Ghostface and Sidney Prescott’s (Neve Campbell) half-brother.

As the cast of Scream 7 continues to grow, fans of the iconic horror franchise are presented with more and more head-scratching mysteries. We’re all still trying to figure out why Neve Campbell is married to some guy named Mark that isn’t the same as Patrick Dempsey’s Mark from Scream 3.

The cast of Scream 7 is quickly growing, and now includes the return of the most divisive Ghostface killer from the original movie trilogy.
