A protest is underway after a large crowd of people clashed with federal agents in Paramount Saturday morning.

An hours-long standoff between protesters and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents erupted Saturday morning at a Home Depot in Paramount, as federal officials warned of further immigration raids to come in Los Angeles.

A local immigrant rights organization said more than 45 people were detained in the operations, which were described as “random sweeps.”
