SpaceX’s bid to build the ‘Golden Dome’ shield for US president Donald Trump is currently leading the race, and sources say the company is pitching a ‘subscription model’ for missile defence.

There have been speculation that SpaceX, along with two other companies, had emerged as frontrunners for a key part of the 'Golden Dome' missile defense shield. Elon Musk on Friday posted a clarification on X.

SpaceX, Palantir Technologies ( NASDAQ:PLTR ), and defense startup Anduril have reportedly emerged as top candidates to help build former President Donald Trump's proposed Golden Dome missile defense system, according to a Reuters report published Thursday.
