Braves star Ronald Acuña Jr. was benched against the Dodgers when he watched a fly ball hit off the wall and had to settle for a long single. Come Saturday, Jarred Kelenic made a similar mistake but was allowed to stay in the game.

Jarred Kelenic did not hustle out of the box on Saturday and the Atlanta Braves are still dealing with the consequences on Monday. The trouble started when Kelenic hit a long fly ball that bounced off the wall in right field.

Saturday's base running gaffe with Jarred Kelenic was similar to one in August 2019 when Acuña was removed from a game by Snitker.
