A new selfie stop has made its way to the Las Vegas Strip, this time at the Venetian, celebrating the iconic film, The Wizard of Oz. Sphere partnered with the resort to offer visitors a free experience as the countdown to a fully immersive event on August 28,

Those words were spoken in a recent CBS This Morning interview by James Dolan, the owner of the New York Rangers and the CEO of the Las Vegas Sphere. Dolan was referring to the Sphere’s latest installation, a screening of the beloved 1939 classic “The Wizard of Oz” reimagined as an audience-rattling theatrical event. Shows begin on August 28.
