LSU football’s staff is undergoing several changes before head coach Brian Kelly ’s fourth season. The team parted with six off-field staff members last week, sources told The Advocate, and others accepted jobs elsewhere. These are the first staff changes LSU has made since the end of a 9-4 season.

Former Florida State offensive coordinator Alex Atkins is being targeted for a role on the LSU offensive staff, according to a report from CBS Sports. Wilson Alexander of The Advocate adds that Atkins' role could be as tight ends coach / run game coordinator and a deal could be reached as soon as today.
