Constellation Energy stock, which has fluctuated wildly this year in the boom and bust of the AI hype cycle, briefly broke out Tuesday in response to news it signed a 20-year deal to sell power to Meta Platforms.

Shares of Meta Platforms ( META 3.61%) were moving higher last month after the social media giant jumped on a better-than-expected earnings report, and the stock gained again in the second week of May on news of a detente in the trade war between the U.S. and China.
