Grapevine police are working with Flower Mound officers to question a road rage suspect accused of firing into a truck with three kids, injuring a 7-year-old.

A 7-year-old was taken to a hospital Thursday night after being injured by broken glass in a road rage shooting near Bass Pro Shops in Grapevine, police said. The driver of the pickup truck the child was riding in told officers that someone fired shots into his vehicle in the area of Texas 121 and Bass Pro Drive. The shooter then drove away.

Grapevine police said they are investigating a road rage shooting Thursday that injured a child. Officers responded to reports of a shooting near State Highway 121 and Bass Pro Drive at around 8 p.m., according to a news release. According to the driver of a pickup truck, another driver shot into his truck before taking off, police said.
