The Emmy-nominated Showtime series “Yellowjackets” has just launched its third season, and it’s already off to a wild start. Following a group of soccer players who survive a plane crash, the show tracks the young women as they try to piece their lives back together.

That leaves about 1.94 million viewers via streaming, which is a record for any episode of Yellowjackets. The season three premiere’s streaming audience grew by 58 percent vs. the season two opener in March 2023 (which, it should be noted, was before Showtime’s direct-to-consumer streaming service was fully integrated into Paramount+).
