Does Coca-Cola made with cane sugar — aka Mexican Coke — really taste better than the U.S. version made with high-fructose corn syrup, as President Donald Trump claims? Not quite, according to some studies.

PepsiCo wants to follow the lead of customers on its journey to "eliminate artificial colors and artificial flavors," the company's CEO said Thursday.

A possible move by Coca-Cola , and other beverage and food industries, to use cane sugar instead of corn syrup as a sweetener would be difficult and expensive to implement, while mostly negative for farmers in the United States.
