The Vikings have removed themselves from the Aaron Rodgers sweepstakes. NFL Network reported Wednesday that Minnesota is “not pursuing” the four-time league MVP “at this time” and intends to move forward with quarterback J.J. McCarthy, the team’s 10th overall pick last year who missed his rookie season while recovering from knee surgery.

The Vikings agreed to terms with Okudah, 26, a 6-1, 205-pound cornerback known for his physicality. He'll provide depth in the secondary.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Okudah has reached a one-year deal with the Minnesota Vikings, marking his fourth team in what will soon be a six-year NFL career. Okudah joins Tavierre Thomas and Isaiah Rodgers as the third defensive back Minnesota has signed since the start of the 2025 free agency period.
