The 3D printed portion of this shoe is the most interesting bit about this shoe. It's the midsole that we're looking at, here, made with a lattice design made with 39% bio-based 3D material.

Adidas had quite a bit of experience with how structures might be coded for performance from its 4D project from 2017, in which Adidas began 3D printing midsoles, which it still sells today.

It follows previous models like the 4D Futurecraft, made possible by Adidas and Carbon's tech that lets them manufacture 3D-printed shoes on a large scale.
