The design was created by New Jersey native and Brooklyn-based artist Rich Tu. It draws inspiration from both states, notably highlighting the Statute of Liberty and flowers to honor the Garden State.

The Brooklyn Nets unveiled their 2024-25 Nike NBA City Edition uniform on Thursday, marking the second collaboration with Brooklyn artist KAWS ... a remixed Nets logo on the shorts.
