A Milwaukee baseball legend Félix Mantilla Lamela got his final send-off Sunday afternoon, as dozens gathered for a celebration of life to remember his contributions both on and off the field.
At the plate was 21-year-old Mickey Mantle ... him to the outfield in spring training 1951. Mantle's first major league homer was off Chicago's Randy Gumpert on May 1, 1951.
