The Colorado Rockies lost a baseball game yesterday, something you can say about most days during the early going of this season. What made yesterday particularly special, however, is they actually lost twice.

Colorado lost its sixth straight and is now 4-23 to open a season that gets darker by the day, and the proverbial “light at the end of the tunnel” seems a million miles away.

Hot-hitting Cincinnati Reds third baseman Noelvi Marte delivered a three-hit game, and Emilio Pagán earned another save as the Reds beat the Rockies.
