A large tree fell and brought down wires at the corner of Superior Road and Forest View Drive in Cleveland Heights Monday.

According to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, 22% — or roughly 500 species — of plants growing wild in the state are not native.

The Urban Forestry Commission also heard an update on a more tree-friendly sidewalk repair policy at its quarterly meeting.
