Sacramento used Malik Monk as their main starting point guard for most of the season after dealing Fox and they then turned to Keon Ellis to fill that hole late in the season, allowing Monk to return to his role as the sixth man.

While Sabonis did say that he wants to remain with the Kings in the future, he is expected to have the same discussions with the front office that Fox did last offseason, which eventually ended up in the star point guard being moved.
