Veteran Chicago Firefighter Dies of Injuries when Garage Roof Collapses
A Chicago Fire Department captain has died from injuries he suffered Wednesday morning from a garage fire on the West Side in the Austin neighborhood, fire officials said. Captain David Meyer died after the structure at 5505 W. Crystal St. collapsed, officials said.
