Google has been tweaking Search Live to make it feel more like a real conversation, using voice through AI Mode, which is pretty much how Gemini Live works. To keep things visually in sync, the tech giant is apparently also bringing over the same overlay design from Gemini Live to streamline how its AI tools look and feel across the board.

Students will be able to upload PDFs or use the camera on their phone to set AI Mode off on a search for answers.
