President-elect Donald Trump has told residents of Greenland that “we’re going to treat you well” as his oldest son visited the mineral-rich Danish territory that’s home to a large U.S. military base.

Donald Trump Jr. arrived in Greenland on Jan. 7 after his father, President-elect Donald Trump, repeated his desire to acquire the territory. According to Greenlandic officials, the visit will only last a few hours and has no official capacity.

Donald Trump Jr.'s visit to Nuuk, Greenland, was expected to last four to five hours on Tuesday. No meetings were scheduled with government officials.

Donald Trump Jr. is heading to Greenland, visiting the Danish territory weeks after his father renewed suggestions that the U.S. could somehow take control of it. The younger Trump is going for a day trip to shoot video content for podcasting and will not be meeting with any government officials or political figures,
