Luke Hegge, 33, of Pine City, showed off two 10-point bucks he arrowed at Camp Ripley on Oct. 20, 2011. The green score of the deer on the left was 160; the one on the right scored 155.
The buck he took that day remains as the largest typical-scoring buck ever recorded from public land in this state. It scored 203 1/8 typical inches and weighed an incredible 190-pounds field-dressed.
