Memphis Grizzlies star point guard Ja Morant will miss his second straight game in a road contest against the Sacramento Kings on Monday night. The Grizzlies announced on Sunday that Morant will be out due to left hamstring soreness. This is a new injury and not the one that held Morant out of Saturday's win against the Miami heat.

Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant is out against the Miami Heat on Saturday night (7 p.m. CT, FanDuel Sports Network). Grizzlies coach Taylor Jenkins revealed before the game that Morant was "pretty banged-up" after Friday's loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Morant missed 10 games after injuring himself while attempting a dunk during the Grizzlies' 131-114 win over the Los Angeles Lakers on Nov. 6. The 25-year-old then said that he won't dunk for the rest of his career to avoid further risk.
