GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Police have made arrests related to the death of a 14-year-old who overdosed in Norcross weeks ago. Twenty-one-year-old Brenda Alfaro-Alvarado and 20-year-old Angel Alexander Nava-Nava were charged in connection to the teen's death.

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — The GBI is investigating an inmate death at the Gwinnett County Jail. Deputy Pagan with the Gwinnett sheriff’s office says Phillip Antwon Munroe was found unresponsive in his cell during a routine security check in a maximum security housing unit.

Three people have been arrested in connection to “multiple juvenile overdoses,” according to the Gwinnett County Police Department. On Jan. 26, a Norcross 12-year-old overdosed, but survived, according to police.
