Jimmy Butler often corrects people that he’s not from Houston, he’s from Tomball, where he found time for a private workout on Monday.

Since acquiring Butler in a blockbuster trade from the Miami Heat at the deadline, the Warriors have ripped off an impressive 23-7 record. In 30 games with the Warriors, Butler is averaging 17.9 points on 47.6% shooting from the field with 5.9 assists and 5.5 rebounds.

As Golden State prepares to face the Houston Rockets in their first-round NBA playoff series, Butler held a private workout and rocked a custom Warriors jersey featuring his name and Curry’s No. 30. While media members and portions of Dub Nation might want Butler to shoot more 3-pointers, he’s fully aware of his strengths.
