The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources conducted the first-ever prescribed burn at Lakeshore State Park on Tuesday.

The Center brings together interdisciplinary expertise from across ESF, the National Park Service, state parks, and other partners to address challenges in preserving our landscape heritage.

The prescribed burn will take place for a few hours between March 31 and April 9, depending on the weather as well as wind speed and direction.
