Lunches are made fresh each day for the Meals on Wheels program before being packed away to be delivered, with each tray sealed with a plastic cover to ensure quality, on Feb. 1, 2024.

Meals on Wheels of Loveland and Berthoud (MOWLB) installed an automatic heat sealer in its kitchen on June 11. The first delivery of the newly packaged meals took place June 12.

Meals on Wheels People announced Tuesday it received two grants totaling $1.7 million from Trillium Community Health Plan to support its Medically Tailored Meals program.
