Thomas Massie questioned Mike Johnson's motives after the leader of his own party bashed him over his resolution to release the files on Jeffrey Epstein.

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) may go from hero to zero in Donald Trump's eyes as a "rift" grows within the House GOP caucus over the Jeffrey Epstein files and Republicans side with Democrats in demanding transparency.

But Johnson’s deflection was quickly met with a Community Note on X. It pointed out that the push to release the Epstein files is, in fact, largely a bipartisan effort, with over half of the current cosponsors being Republicans. The note linked to the resolution, which shows a steadily growing list of supporters across the aisle.
