While Montana’s last digital update was in 2011, the time before that was 1993. And many places, including the Missoula Public Library’s custom mapmaking service, rely on maps produced in 1968.
This year, every fourth-grader in Montana will receive an 8½-by-11-inch laminated map of Montana. The map includes illustrations of the Lewis and Clark expedition's route through Montana.
