The Chargers, whose all-time leading pass-catcher Antonio Gates is being enshrined in 2025, will face the 2024 NFC North champs

The Pro Football Hall of Fame announced Wednesday the Detroit Lions will play host to the Los Angeles Chargers in the 2025 Pro Football Hall of Fame Game scheduled for July 31 in Canton.

The Chargers will kick off the 2025 NFL preseason against the Lions on Thursday, July 31 in Canton, Ohio at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium. Two days later, former Chargers tight end Antonio Gates will be enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The game will be played at 5 pm PT and televised on NBC.
