A Cessna plane that crashed while flying to Nome, Alaska, last month, killing all 10 people on board, was hundreds of pounds too heavy for icing conditions, a National Transportation Safety Board report says.

A small plane crashed Thursday morning in Mesquite, killing one person, according to Mesquite Fire Department. The plane, a Cessna CitationJet, left the Mesquite Metro Airport at 7:40 a.m. and crashed a few seconds later, according to the City of Mesquite.
