Former first daughter Amy Carter is featured in a new exhibit at the JFK Presidential Library about presidential pets.

He passed away at their Plains home on Sunday, Dec. 29. He was 100 years old. Rosalynn Carter passed away in November 2023 at the age of 96.

The Carters were married for 77 years until Rosalynn died on Nov. 19, 2023. Jimmy Carter died on Dec. 29, 2024, nearly three months after he celebrated his 100th birthday.

The Carter Center was founded in 1982 by former U.S. President Jimmy Carter and his wife, Rosalynn, in partnership with Emory University, to advance peace and health worldwide.
