Samsung Wallet now added support for digital car keys for Volvo and Polestar vehicles, catching up to Google Wallet. Digital car keys offer better convenience and control through BLE, NFC, and UWB tech on select Samsung devices.

The company announced a Digital Key expansion through the Samsung Wallet app to two more car brands: Volvo and Polestar. Not every car under these brands will support the company's digital key. The post states the Volvo EX90 and the Polestar 3 are the first to receive this Digital Key expansion update for Galaxy phone users.

Samsung just announced that the Digital Key in Samsung Wallet will now work with select Volvo and Polestar vehicles, the Polestar 3 and Volvo EX90. The new access means that users with Galaxy devices can unlock the Polestar 3 and Volvo EX90 without a physical fob.
