Sbarro was the closest thing to New York pizza that I sampled during this test, with the pie’s size being far larger than any of the others, even allowing for a traditional fold when eating.

Yet, Sbarro has 800 units in 34 countries, making it the sixth largest pizza chain in the world, she said. Half of the locations in the United States are owned by franchisees.
