DAVIS (CBS13) - A statue of Mahatma Gandhi in a Davis park has been vandalized. Around 9 a.m. Thursday, a Davis Central Park employee discovered the damage.

The project is being paid for by the government of India, which has donated a six-foot-tall, 900 pound brass statue of Gandhi to be erected in Davis’ Central Park.
