The man-made wave pool technology of Wavegarden can pump out an average of 450 waves ... Its first facility is expected to open this summer in Atlantic Park in Virginia Beach.

Wavegarden would be the first public surf park on the Treasure Coast. Two other private wave pools are in the works for Fellsmere and Fort Pierce.
