The Golden State Warriors reportedly have varying degrees of interest in trade offers the Phoenix Suns and Sacramento Kings have made for restricted free-agent forward Jonathan Kuminga.

The Warriors are the only team who haven’t made a move in free agency, and the holdup is what the organization will do with Kuminga’s restricted free agency. According to NBA insider Marc Stein, Kuminga has been given multiple offers, from a qualifying offer of one year for $7.9M to a two-year contract for $40M.

Of all the positions a young NBA player can find himself in, contract-wise, restricted free agency is probably the worst. Jonathan Kuminga can't get a new deal with the Warriors. Josh Giddey can't get a new deal with the Bulls.
