The 175ft (53m) Wellington Monument in Somerset was built in 1817 as a tribute to the Duke of Wellington's victory at Waterloo. It has been fenced off for 13 years due to falling stone debris.
Children can visit the Wellington Monument for free in 2025. The normal price is £5 per person, but Wellington Without Parish Council will cover the entry fees for 100 tickets for children under 16.
