Yosemite National Park has announced it will delay the sale of summer reservations for its popular campsites. In a post on its social media pages Friday, the park said the delay impacts five campgrounds: Upper Pines, Lower Pines, North Pines, Wawona, and Hodgdon Meadow. The delay will impact reservations from June 15 to July 14.

Employees at Yosemite National Park are expressing their confusion and concern after learning they are out of a job.

The announcement comes as the federal government laid off about 1,000 newly hired National Park Service employees who maintain and clean parks.

Yosemite National Park has over 750 miles of trails to explore. One, in particular, requires solid hiking skills but will reward you with a gorgeous view.
